Some famous Catholic priest had sex with a girl and now they're grilling him for it. You know, I watched a movie called Priest. It's about the same thing- a priest has sex with this guy, and the church is all like BLA BLA BLA YOU'RE EXILED BLA BLA BLA. I just don't think they should make it as big a deal as they're making it. He had sex. Get over the fact that it wasn't with you.
Anyway, does anybody know what absurdist theater is? According to Wikepedia...
Though the term is applied to a wide range of plays, some characteristics coincide in many of the plays: broad comedy, often similar to Vaudeville, mixed with horrific or tragic images; characters caught in hopeless situations forced to do repetitive or meaningless actions; dialogue full of clichés, wordplay, and nonsense; plots that are cyclical or absurdly expansive; either a parody or dismissal of realism and the concept of the "well-made play"
So apparently, that's what my play is. But excuse me. That's not... bad... Maybe it's just because you've read only 1/5 of it.
Unhappiness is the funniest sort of comedy.
Absurdist playwrihgting. yay~

lol "get iver the fact that it wasn't w/ u" lol
But arent catholics known for overreacting to that type of stuff? idk Im not catholic so im asking
@Parms_408 - Well, overreacting isn't the way I'd put it. It's because Catholic canon states that priests are not allowed to have sex. They take a vow of chastity, as well as other kinds of vows. So he broke it.
But I mean... There's worse stuff the church has done. The problem with this one is he's in love with the girl but he wants the Pope to change years of ritual, and that's just not going to happen. That's why the Great Schism happened in the first place- again, it's just not going to happen.
